Nov 16, 2019 · Whatever BIOS update or windows update, when you remove the boot device, the PC will not boot into the window, during the POST it will show no boot device error, it will stuck in the black screen, or the boot screen, and it will not stuck in the whatever update. X280 Stuck at Lenovo Logo Screen. Hey all, I have an issue with a machine that I am working on for someone. It is a Thinkpad x280 20KF variant from 2018. I have pulled the battery, the CMOS battery, used the Reset switch to attempt to get into the BIOS or Boot Menu with no luck. The machine, no matter the steps taken, just sits at the LENOVO Pressing the power button 60 sec/10 sec Pressing the small tiny hole at the bottom of the laptop Removing the CMOS battery and waiting for 20 min and putting it back. When pressing Win + P and selecting any options from there it won't do anything and reverts back to "PC screen only".
